Motorola Razr 60: Leaked Specs Reveal Dimensity 7400X Chipset and 4,500mAh Battery

It looks like the Motorola Razr 60 is shaping up to be an exciting successor to the Razr 50, with several upgrades that could appeal to foldable phone enthusiasts. Here's a breakdown of the key leaks and features:

Design and Colours:

  • The Motorola Razr 60 will come in three colour options:
    • Pantone Gibraltar Sea (blue)
    • Pantone Lightest Sky (cream)
    • Pantone Spring Bud (green)
  • The design is said to resemble last year’s Razr 50 with a hole-punch cutout for the front camera and dual outward-facing cameras on the cover screen.
  • The back panel may feature a leather finish with Razr branding at the bottom, continuing the premium aesthetic of its predecessor.

Specifications:

  • Display:
    • The Razr 60 is tipped to sport a 6.7-inch Pantone-validated pOLED HDR10 inner display. This is slightly smaller than the 6.9-inch display of the Razr 50 but still quite large for a foldable phone.
  • Chipset & Performance:
    • The phone could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X chipset, offering solid performance alongside up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. This is an upgrade over the Razr 50’s Dimensity 7300X SoC.
  • Camera Setup:
    • A dual-camera system is expected, featuring a 50MP primary sensor and a telephoto sensor with 4x optical zoom. The front-facing camera is tipped to be a 32MP selfie shooter.
  • Battery:
    • The 4,500mAh battery will be a significant improvement over the Razr 50’s 4,200mAh battery, with 30W fast charging support.
  • Other Features:
    • The Razr 60 is expected to come with Moto AI features, providing smarter performance enhancements.
    • A side-mounted fingerprint sensor will likely be included for secure authentication.
    • IP48 rating for water and dust resistance, which is a step down from the Razr 50's IPX8 rating, but still provides decent protection.

Potential Launch:

The launch date hasn’t been officially confirmed, but with all these leaks, it’s clear that Motorola is ready to push forward with an impressive update to the foldable Razr lineup. The upgrades in performance, battery, and camera could make it a strong competitor in the foldable market.

What do you think of these updates? Are you excited about the new design and specs?
